Work for a Better Bangladesh (WBB) Trust has organized a month long mask distribution campaign among pedestrians and on 6th January 2021 the campaign was inaugurated. The campaign was organized by Rayerbazar High School, Dhaka Ideal Cadet School, Ali Hossain Girls School, Institute of Wellbeing Bangladesh and WBB Trust and conducted at Sankar bus stand on 6th January 2021 at 11.00 AM.

Dhaka city follows the vendor management system as Japan naming ‘Shotengai Street’, then it will be beneficiary for both pedestrians and hawkers. It is important to adopt a national policy in this regard. On 6th March 2018, Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust organized a view exchange meeting on ‘Win-Win Situation for Pedestrian and Hawkers: Learning from Japan’ and discussants discussed as above.

Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust participated in the Smart City Campaign organized by Access to Information (Honorable Prime Minister's Office, Bangladesh) UNDP and other stakeholder organizations. Under this program we participated in the Innovation Hub, where more than 100 organizations, institutions, persons came with their ideas to build a smart city. We prepared a model to build a pedestrian friendly neighbourhood. And we are awarded with Best Innovation Concept (Implementation) Award!
