A total of 38 industry interferences were reported in November. Notable among these we identified that, British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited (BATBC) in large industries category received "President's Award for Industrial Development-2019" and Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh, recently moderated a robust panel discussion on “The Changing Landscape of Bangladesh” at an event titled Celebrating 50 years of Bangladesh, organized by the Foreign Investors' Chamber of Industry & Commerce (FICCI).With the technical assistance of the Union, WBB Trust has collected all the information about the interferences done by the tobacco companies. A brief report on the activities of tobacco companies has been prepared in recent times.
