A round table conference has been arranged on 21 june 2009 “Safe water sources: actions to save rivers, canals and water bodies” by WBB Trust and Media Forum for Human Rights and Environmental Development (MED). Syed Mahbubul Alam, Program manager, WBB Trust was the moderator of the conference where the main article was presented by Executive Director of MED, Rafikul Islam Suraj. Adur Razzal M.P, President of Water Resource parliamentary committee, Najrul Islam Monju M.P., member of Ministry of Communication related parliamentary committee, ASM Abdur Rab, former minister, Abu Naser Khan, Chairman of Poribesh Bachao Andolon were also present in the program. The news was broadcasted in 15 news papers and 2 TV channels.
