The Importance and Role of Public Toilets in Public Health and Environment

On 7 June 2009, Save the Environment Movement (POBA), the Urban and Regional Planning Department of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and WBB Trust jointly organized a seminar on The importance and role of public toilets in public health and the environment at Dhaka Reporters Unity. At the seminar, Abu Naser Khan, Chairman of POBA, said that if public toilets can be ecologically built, it will benefit the economy as well as the environment.
