In order to celebrate World No Tobacco Day-2010, a colorful rally was jointly organized  Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust and Bangladesh Tamak Birodhi Jote (BATA). The rally was led by Meher Afroz Chumki president of Parliamentary Committee for Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, National Assembly Bangladesh. The rally was commenced on at 9.00 AM discarding heavy rain in the morning 31 May 2010 and was terminated at TSC after roaming around different streets of Dhaka University.

WBB Trust participated in the rally to express solidarity with the anti tobacco organizations working under Bangladesh Tamak Birodhi Jote (BATA). The program was briefly addressed by Advocate Humayun Kabir, General Secretary of Consumers’ Association of Bangladesh (CAB), Dr. Akramul Islam, technical consultant of The Union, Chinmoy Mutsuddi coordinator of PATT Project of Unnayan Samunnay. The program was convened by Sayed Mahbubul Alam, program manager of WBB Trust.

Among others BRAC, The Hunger Project Bangladesh, ECLAB, NATAB, Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB), UBINIG, Nayakrishi Movement, Nirapad Development Foundation, Shimantik, Institute of Clinical emmulogy of Bangladesh (IACIB), Manobik, Prottyasha Anti-drugs Club, Unnayan Samunnay, Eminence Bangladesh, Srotodhara Foundation, Sarda OSHE, Vission Bangladesh and Lead Bangladesh participated in the rally.
