বাংলাদেশ তামাক বিরোধী জোটের একটি প্রতিনিধিদল আগারগাঁও নির্বাচন কামশনারের কার্যালয়ে বাংলাদেশ নির্বাচন কমিশন এর সচিব মো. জাহাংগীর আলম এর সাথে সরাসরি সাক্ষাৎ করেন । সাক্ষাৎকালে নির্বাচনী প্রতীক হিসাবে “হুক্কা” কে বাদ দেওয়া এবং জনস্বাস্থ্য বিবেচনায় নির্বাচনের সময়কালে সকল ভোটকেন্দ্র সম্পূর্ণ ধূমপানমুক্ত ঘোষনা করার বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশ তামাক বিরোধী জোট এর পক্ষ থেকে অনুরোধ জানানো হয় । উক্ত বিষয়ে নির্বাচন কমিশন সচিব ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে আলোচনা করে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহনে করবেন বলে আশ্বাস ব্যক্ত করেন ।
