Every year about 36 million people are dying worldwide due to non-communicable diseases, of which 29 million is in middle-income countries. Unhealthy food habits, lack of adequate physical activity, obesity, uncontrolled alcohol and tobacco consumption and environmental pollution are the leading cause of non-communicable diseases. Importance should be given on preventive system for NCD control and health protection.
Health protection initiatives need to be taken through creating and strengthening opportunities of pure drinking water, clean air, environment, soil, food, housing, open space, exercise, sanitation, mobility, sports etc. Actually health is a comprehensive issue.
