96.45% of residents are satisfied with the neighborhood farmers’ markets and 87.78% of community people regularly purchase products from there. On the other hand, 56.64% of the farmers said that they get more profit by selling their produce in the farmers' market. Markets need to be regularized through a separate desk considering the benefits of both farmers and consumers. Today, February 26, 2023, at 10.00 am, the speakers said this at the metropolitan level strategic meeting organized to determine the strategy to sustain 16 farmers' markets of Dhaka.
