100 NGO’s endorsed this year's tobacco tax recommendations

WBB Trust organized program on 20 March 2019 at Dhaka Club where about 100 NGO representatives from the country participated. In the closing session of the program, Dr. Rumana Huq, Professor of Dhaka University gave brief orientation about tobacco taxation and shared this year’s recommendations for increasing tobacco tax. After that, these 100 NGO representatives recommended for imposing specific tobacco tax in this year's budget through their endorsement.
