Govt. has amended Smoking and Tobacco Product Usage (Control) Act 2005 in 2013 and passed rules for the act in 2015. According to amended TC law and rules, no sale and marketing of tobacco products without graphic health warning in the tobacco packages from 19^th March 2016. But the multinational tobacco companies are doing various kinds of misleading campaign and applying different types of plot to prevent the pictorial health warning labels. To prevent their unethical activity and demand of ensuring GHW, a demonstration was jointly organized by Orunodoyer Torun Dol and WBB Trust and 8 other anti tobacco organizations on the demand of ensuring pictorial health warning in tobacco products within the specific time limit in front of National press Club on 27^th January 2016. 

The demonstration program was presided by Helal Ahmed, General Secretary, Prottyasha Anti Drug Organization, where Aminul Islam Bokul, ED, AID; Syeda Anonna Rahman, Program Manager, WBB Trust; Amir Hossien, ED, Green Mind Society; Razia Sultana, ED, LRB; Farzana Zaman Liza, Research Assistant, TCRC; Shahidul Islam Babu, President, Orunodoyer Torun Dol gave speech. The program was moderated by Ibnul Syed Rana, Chairman, Nirapod Development Foundation.

Speakers said that, pictorial warning will play a significant role in increasing awareness and reduce tobacco uses. We are hopeful that government will stand firm in ensuring health warning provided by the law for development of public health.
