On 30 June 2015 a team of different organization led by Abu Naser Khan, Chairman, Poribesh Bachao Andolon (POBA) gave a memorandum to Md. Altaf Hossain, Director General of Department of Archeology. The team mentioned recommendations to protect Lalbagh Fort and other heritages. Director General ensured to rebuild the wall within one week. He also committed to work to protect country wide heritages.

The team consisted Mihir Biswas, Joint Secretary, Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA), Maruf Hossain, National Advocacy Officer, Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust, Engineer Sajjadur Rashid, Secretariat Member, Heritage Protection Team, POBA, Nazrul Islam, POBA, Burhan Uddin ahmed, Chairman, Poribesh Unnoyon Society and many more.
