WBB Trust, BICD and TFK had jointly organized the divisional workshop on tobacco control law development in Rajshahi on 16 March 2009. Mr. Shamsuzzaman (ADC, Rajshahi district) had presided the workshop. Dr. Jahurul Islam (Civil Surgeon, Rajshahi) was present there as chief guest. The workshop was moderated by Aminul Islam Sujon (Sr. Project Officer, WBB Trust). Syeda Anonna Rahman (Project Oficer, WBB) had presented the keynote paper about tobacco control law development recommendations and Fajlul Haq Khan had presented another paper about tobacco control law and law implementation situation in Bangladesh. In the workshop the participants told, the task force committee facing many problems to implication the law. So the law should be improving according to FCTC to help the task force committee.

President of Rajshahi press club, president of Rajshahi Bar Association, President of Rajshahi Medical Association, ED of BCDP, ED of BDSC, ED of CDC, ED of BICD, ED of RANI, ED of Khaja sriti pathagar were present in the workshop.
