Women and children are effected by second hand smoke for smoking at public places and transports including workplaces and restaurnts. To save women, children and non-smokers, 100% smokefree environment is needed at public places and transports including workplaces, restaurents and non-govt organizations.

Speakers said this at human chain held in front of National Press Club at  June 03, 2010 to improve tobaco control law. The program was organized by NATAB and WBB Trust. Md. Shahajahan, executive director, BCCP. Helal Ahmed, secretary general, PROTSHA, Shagufta Sultana, project coordinator of NATAB, Ibnul Sayed Rana, chairmen of NDF, Syed Mahbubul Alam of  BATA Secretareat, Shamsul Alam, director of EKLAB,  Nipan Chandra Bala, ISIB, Aminul Islam Sujon, senior project officer of  WBB Trust spoke on the occasion. AID, CAB, IPSHA, MANOBIK and other Jote organizations attended this human chain.
