WBB
plays a leading role in the Bangladesh Anti-Tobacco Alliance (BATA),
which has more information about tobacco control activities in
Bangladesh:
Healthbridge provides technical support for WBB, and has
produced a series of tools for use by tobacco control advocates,
particularly those in developing countries, which are available on its
website. Healthbridge also supports initiatives in promotion
of fuel-free transport and livable cities, malaria control, nutrition,
gender, and reproductive health.
WBB
is an active member of the Framework Convention Alliance (FCA).
The FCA is an
international alliance which supports a strong Framework Convention on
Tobacco Control (FCTC), an international treaty to reduce the harm
caused by tobacco.
WBB Trust is a member of World Carfree Network, which is
a network of organizations committed to promoting positive alternatives
to private cars and other motorized vehicles, through promotion of
policy, planning and practice to support non-motorized transport,
